Autumn to Winter, Winter to Spring,
Spring into Summer, Summer into Fall,
So rolls the changing year, and so we change;
Motion so swift, we know not that we move .

I have always loved the month of September. I understand this is not universally true for all, some folks experience low moods due to the end of summer.
However, I have always found September to be an exciting time. I look forward to autumn, the golden leaves falling from the trees, comfort foods, cosy clothes and the promise of winter festive events on the horizon.
This week’s list is one of good things to be enjoyed this September.

Set New Year Resolutions in September
The new school year has started in the UK in September since 1899 this was so that during the summer holidays children could work in the fields before returning to school.
The hangover from this is that every September feels like the start of a new year and gives a great alternative opportunity to start a set of new year resolutions in a lighter time. Fuelled by post-summer energies, it can feel easier to make changes within a shorter time frame. With the promise of Christmas to let go and reward as an end goal, it can feel like a win before you even start.
