Palm Royale
Set in the 1960s, this comedy drama is based on Mr. & Mrs. American Pie by Juliet McDaniel. The camp styling and glamorous locations are secondary to the brilliance of the script and actors.
Be warned though - this is a highly addictive and enjoyable watch. You'll be hooked on Maxine's path to get to the top of the Palm Beach Set.

Intimate conversations which reveal unexpected stories of garments loved and worn, and told by the owners.
Each tale is heartwarming and as varied as the garments.
I fell in love with this series when I watched it.
Quant

Directed by Sadie Frost, this film on Mary Quant offers a fresh look at the iconic designer who changed the way young people dressed in the 1960s. It includes contributions from some famous faces, as well as lots of great footage and quotes from the revolutionary Mary Quant.

The New Look
High on style, this thought-provoking series tells the personal story of Christian Dior and how he worked throughout the occupation in Paris and the evolution of Couture.
This is a big-budget series with great actors, clothes, and stunning locations.

Ladies in Black
Based on the book The Women in Black by Madeleine St. John, this 2018 film tells the story of a young schoolgirl who gets a summer job in a Sydney department store in the 1950s. The experience changes her life, opening up a whole new world of possibilities through the colleagues she meets in the fashion department. This coming-of-age drama is a sweet escape to the past.
